646f9e108c Nasik-based Heerendra Dhaan and Raj Ranade are bodyguards of a politician, but after their employer is implicated in a scam, they end up assaulting a police officer and flee to Mumbai. Once there they meet with Rambhabhai, who in turn, gets them employed with a gangster named Shambhu. After a short while the duo are apprehended by Police Inspector Narsimha, questioned, and after they agree to cooperate to bring down Shambhu, are let go. The two do succeed in assisting the police arrest Shambhu, but they themselves are arrested, tried in Court, and sentenced to a year in jail. After their discharge they are met with Inspector Narsimha, who wants to recruit them to capture and kill dreaded bandit Babban Singh, who had slaughtered his wife, Kavita, and son, Subbu, as well as cut his arms off. Heerendra and Raj agree to carry out this task for 8 Lakh Rupees. They re-locate to Kaliganj where Heerendra falls in love with auto-rickshaw driver, Ghungroo, while Raj gives his heart to Subbu's widow, Durga. They then set about their task to capture Babban, and do meet with some success during Diwali, but Babban manages to escape. Babban then starts to ambush and kill Kaliganj residents one by one in order to compel them to surrender the duo to him. The question remains will the residents carry out Babban's wishes or will they permit themselves to be slaughtered? RGV starting scaling down and reached hell with this

He tried to re make SHOLAY and made CHOLEY

The film is a disaster, like you are watching a B grade and C grade film

The film is horrible to say the least Babban looks like a jackass Ajay looks like A south hero with a weird dressing sense The other hero is bad Nisha should shut up Sushmita was okay

The film is so funny you can pass it off as a comedy Every scene looks like a c grade film

RGv is bad Music is bad

Amitabh makes faces, overdoes it terribly Mohanlal is decent, his accent is bad Ajay sucks especially in suicide scene Prashant is okay Sushmita is okay Nisha sucks Considering the low score, I did not expect much from this movie, seeing it I was pleasantly surprised, at least for the first hour or so. It had all the elements you need for an at least watchable movie, a working plot, decent acting, a fair budget and so on. There were also a few fairly random song and dance numbers which I found kind of weird. But then I suppose that is part of the Bollywood aesthetic, I'm just not used to that kind of thing seeing as I've only ever seen a handful of Bollywood films.

That said, there are some problems with the movie, chief among which is the confusion, caused by a number of different factors. For one, the plot is a bit disjointed with no clear flow or direction, but that is only minor. What is far worse is the cinematography, the camera keeps moving around like the cameraman was drunk, and when it stays in one place for any length of time it tends to be dark, with one bright source of light and lots of dust. It's hard to know what's going on, simply because you cannot see.

Moreover the tone of the movie is very inconsistent; one moment we get some hard core gangster stuff full of torture and psychological terror, and the next we get comedy hi-jinks and over the top romance. The abrupt Bollywood dances contribute to this duality.

I could stand with all this for a little while, say up to an hour and a half but when it turned out this thing is a whooping two and a half hours, it got too much. The story drags on forever and the director keeps cramming unnecessary stuff in, which only adds to the confusion. At normal length, with fewer sub-plots this would be a pretty good movie, all the problems put together drag it down to the low end of the scale.
